Hot Hot Hot

It's been an interesting and busy month here in San Diego. The temperature has been consistently high, high enough to melt the chocolate I am making. It's made me reconsider the 3 month gap I had planned in the year where I wouldn't be making chocolate. I had thought June, July and August would be the quiet months. It appears that trying to ship chocolate out in September could be a messy proposition. I knew September many years was San Diego's warmest month, but the forecast has made me change my plans. Subscriptions will now start in October, but will run through June. June gloom will allow for cooler temps early in June and that is when the final month of the 2019 - 2020 season subscription would ship. So I think we are all good. Just a little later start than I thought.
