It has been an interesting summer, and with lots of time on my hands I have been playing with lots of flavors to create next Season's amazing chocolate selection. There were many, many prototypes, some of which were delicious, and some that.... well... even my kids wouldn't eat. :/
The good news though, is that there are lots of A+ flavors that will be coming to everyone's door during this season, and I am very excited about that. I might even express a SAVORY chocolate to everyone in the winter. Haven't decided yet, but I have been doing some things I don't think anyone else is doing to chocolate. I have created a dark chocolate with a Creme Brulee style top. Crunchy, crispy burnt sugar. Very interesting. I have done things with Blue Cheese, Sauteed onion and mushrooms, Basalmic Vinegar...
Like I said, it was a fun summer. Now the best part begins. I can share, bit by bit, the creative things that were successful. Like this White Chocolate, Cookies and cream inspired bar that also will remind you of a mint scout cookie, but with chocolate chewy caramel and crunchy chocolate covered almonds. Once you try it you will want more. Don't say I didn't warn you. Scouting Greatness.
